Who is Rakito?
The Name
My nick name is Rocky that’s what my Dad gave to me and yes if you’re thinking Sylvester Stallone on his movie (ROCKY I-VI) YES you are correct my nick name is taken from that movie and the name Rakito is Filipinize (by my Dad also) when I am 9 years old. Sounds cool, so I get use to it.
The Career
I’m a programmer but eventually I discover that my passion does not belong on syntax and codes, not because I am not good to it, in fact in my batch before they expect that I will excel in this course but instead I am more comfortable on writing, speaking on a crowd and doing interviews. As of now I am over sea’s worker here in Saudi Arabia as an Executive Secretary in the biggest Dairy Company in the whole Middle East.
The Blogging Journey
As of now I enjoy reading Self-Help books and articles, I love to be motivated whether for temporary or for long run, I love improvement and growth. LIVING THE LIFE TO THE FULLEST is one of my favorite mottos in life and eventually I discover that in order for us to live life in the highest level we must learn how to give. LIVING IS GIVING as what I read on Anthony Robbins articles and book.
What’s the Mill?
People ask me what is the MILL? Where did I get that and what it is mean to me?
I think the reason behind that is because when I was a newbie in the Self-Help world my first articles that I read is from Pook he is one of the popular member in sosuave.net, a website where people discuss about seduction and how to be attractive to woman. This guy (Pook) really write a good stuffs that I am really buying it and to be honest I copy paste all of his post to my MS Word, print it and book bind it. Now Pook is not much active on Sosuave.net and he have his own blogsite where he also named it as da’Pooks Mill (dapook.blogspot.com) something like that) but eventually he become inactive and totally not updating his blog. I am a big fan, that’s why I adopted his MILL.
What else you can offer beside your articles?
Beside of the Articles about self help my other hobby is photography and of course like many bloggers I want to write in blog format where I can play around, say something on current events and have some fun.
Where we will start reading?
Most blogsite there are READ FIRST section so the newbie will be inform what is the site for. For me you can start reading wherever that your conscience are telling to you to read if its from the oldest or the latest post but if you really insist asking me where you will start I suggest you read the Rakito’s Mill Purpose first.
I am confuse there are written in tagalog and english article in this site, where do you preferred this blog?
I am also confused where I will focus more but as of now I prefer ENGLISH, TAG-LISH or ENG-LOG.
