These days there were water crisis
reported to some part of Philippines
Metro Manila which is being said
this is the effect of El Nino
however it is also being said that
several dam have enough water
supply despite to the
El Nino claim issue.
So eventually the question is
if there really a crisis or it’s
just a mere horrible mismanagement?
Whatever it is, what is very
evident right now is that there
are plenty of our countrymen suffers
on water shortage. I can relate
to that! Especially in Philippines
climate where a quick bath is your
only way out to ease the discomfort
of humid weather, plus the extra
discomfort effort that consumes your
time where you should suppose to
spend resting but due to this
illusive crisis or mismanagement
you need to stay-up to save-up water
for your daily needs.
The way I understand is that in
Philippines the pillar needs
like water, electricity, telecom
and the likes are privately owned
which bothering many Filipino
ever since because when I hear the
word “Privately Own” it means
business for people who runs it.
Business is all about money first!
Believe it or not. But when it
comes to People’s needs
the mindset should not be on the
business perspective but more on
public service which is it
suppose to be run by the Government.
The word “Government” might have
an irritating sound to several people
but let’s say we have that ideal
straight forward Government, it is
logical to agree that Government must
manage the pillar needs of a country
like water service.
To tell you the truth I am not
concern whether the said crisis
is authentic or delusional, thing
is that this shortage must be
solve right away before discussing
the contraction of another dam
or who and why it is relevant to
Just like what Pres. Digong said
to MWSS officials
“Shape up or Ship out”
according to Spox Panelo.
